inexperienced thief; Danae

Danae is relaxing at home, watching television, but there’s nothing interesting on, so she decides to check her phone instead. However, she’s getting even more bored and tired, so she decides to go to bed and carry on tomorrow. It’s the early hours of the morning and she hears someone entering the house. It’s a burglar; it looks as though he’s going to manage to steal a few things, but he seems a bit clumsy and makes a noise, waking Danae up. She confronts him and goes to call the police, but he’s quicker and starts to strangle her. If he’d been more careful, or if Danae hadn’t woken up, the story would have ended differently for Danae.
