The Competition 2: Athena

Athena is talking with a colleague about preparations for the rodeo circuit where she’ll be competing when someone interrupts at the door—it’s a guy offering her money to ensure that the daughter of a businessman, apparently, wins, since Athena is an excellent rodeo rider and will make him look bad. She refuses all the bribes. Very early the next morning, she runs into the guy again, and he’s determined to offer her more money, but she refuses once more and asks him to leave. However, he knocks her out and drags her to bed, where he begins to strangle her. At one point, she agrees to the deal, but he tells her it’s already too late, and Athena dies.
